The Dodge Charger Daytona has sparked some debate among muscle car enthusiasts, as it represents the future of performance with an electrified powertrain. While opinions may vary, one thing is certain—the Daytona offers a compelling mix of technology, performance, and style.
Inside, drivers are greeted with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and integrated TomTom navigation. More significant changes lie in its performance capabilities, with Launch Control, Line Lock, and Race Prep Mode, which optimizes the battery for track use.
Under the hood, the dual-motor all-wheel drive system generates 630 hp (470 kW / 639 PS) and 627 lb-ft (849 Nm) of torque, with PowerShot increasing output to 670 hp (500 kW / 679 PS). This results in a 0-60 mph time of just 3.3 seconds and a quarter-mile run in 11.5 seconds. However, the range is slightly lower at 260 miles (418 km), and the top speed is 134 mph (216 km/h).
