BC EV Rebate Program Paused May 15 – Final Chance to Save

BC EV Rebate Program Paused May 15 – Final Chance to Save

The BC Government has announced it will pause the Go Electric Passenger Vehicle Rebate Program on May 15, 2025, or sooner if funding runs out.

If you're thinking of buying or leasing a new electric vehicle (EV), now is the time to act. The program has helped thousands of British Columbians save up to $4,000 on eligible zero-emission vehicles.

To qualify before the pause:

  • Apply online and be pre-approved by 6:00 PM on May 15
  • Purchase or lease an eligible vehicle by 11:59 PM on May 15

This change follows the end of the federal EV rebate and forms part of a broader review of BC’s CleanBC climate programs.

Don’t miss out—get pre-approved and drive electric before the deadline.
